Thanks guys It’s very important for those of you Who are new to Amazon FBA because as most of you guys know if you don’t know what you’re doing It’s very easy to pay extra for the product it’s very easy to spend extra money on advertising and The fee that you pay for the course and having me side by side helping you every single step of the way It’s gonna make that money back within the first week easy so make sure to check it out again It’s posted down below in the description box so without further ado Let’s get started on today’s video which will be about Amazon FBA PPC hacks that will help you not only Maximize profit but will minimize the amount you spend on advertising Which will ultimately convert way more sales for you And we’ll help you get on the first page for Amazon FBA so you can maximize your sales So let’s get started the first thing that I wanted to go over with you guys is the difference between amp between exact Versus phrase and Amazon actually has a page here And there are already other website that kind of show you the difference so let me explain Exactly what I mean by that so if you are new to Amazon FBA Initially when you get your product and the whole goal with your product is Make sure that you get at least five to ten reviews with before you start spending any money on PPC for Amazon FBA and when you create that initial campaign once you have got those initial reviews you get an option so you can either run an automatic ad or you can do a manual ad so initially you guys always want to run an Automatic ad and what an automatic ad does it? Targets keywords by a broad match and let’s go over exactly what broad match means so I can give you guys some examples Of how to know whether you should do automatic broad match versus versus phrase and exact So in this example that they give us for the broad match Have kylo Ren t-shirt, so if someone was to search for kylo Ren you might get a misspelling or you might get a different variation of the word as Well if someone was to search for Darth Vader’s grandson Other names that are similar or goo in a broader Phase at that relea to that product will show up so in this case when someone searches for dark Darth Vader’s grandson Han Solo’s son Shows, so it also includes synonyms along with misspellings for broad match Again, let’s check out another keyword. So if someone was to search for Star Wars The Force awakens It looks for related keywords that relates to your product so in this case it would be Darth Vader So again we have misspellings synonyms and related keywords all going underneath the broad match and Last but not least we have kylo Ren’s lightsaber And someone searching that would also get keywords that relate to fight scene of kylo Ren and Rey so I hope that makes a little bit of sense for you guys so your Notice and as you can see you guys hear that if someone searched for lightsaber or Darth Vader Even though those are not one of your keywords your ad will still target all these broad searches Because the all in one way or another Relate to your keyword So there are some cons to running a broad match because sometimes Amazon is platform and algorithm will actually target keywords that are related to your product But might not be what the customer That’s searching for a product is actually looking for so what will happen is the customer is looking for let’s say kylo, ren’s t-shirt And they’ll get you know Something completely different than what they were looking for and they’ll click on your ad and it will actually increase your expense and your cost So you guys always want to make sure that the whole goal with running an automatic and targeting a broad match is To get you know a list of keywords that’s people search that will actually convert door sales And I usually run an automatic ad for about seven days And I changed some things with it which I’ll be going over in detail I have a cheat sheet here that I’ll be walking you guys through but before we do I just kind of want to give you an overview of the difference between a broad match versus a phrase and an exact And As it says here so a broad match keyword will give you valuable information I want potential customers are looking for so you would initially run a broad match for a specific time period which in our case would be about seven days seven days always gives you enough time to dissect those converting keywords and Then you can actually move on to the next stage which is creating it manually so After you’ve done that you can analyze the data as I suggested and adjust those keywords that match the key search terms Now let’s compare the broad match versus the phrase match So in this case if someone was to search for kylo ren’s t-shirt It would show up as well on Amazon Search term black kylo ren’s t-shirt so as you guys can see the keyword is here The phrase is changed So there could be a word before the phrase but it will also show that word So if someone searched kylo ren’s t-shirt the the keyword black might also Show which again it helps you pick out a little bit less keywords than and abroad but still pick out other variations of the keyword that relate to your product so again Abbreviations is also included in a phrase match and so are singular and plural so in this case we have kylo our t-shirts So if someone was to search for this they would get kylo ren’s t-shirt so if you guys see the misspelling here It also picks that up Same with kylo Ren t-shirt it will also show kylo Ren T-shirts if you guys see this year and as well it could again have a ward included after or before so frisk phrase match actually includes slightly less keywords than the broad but again targets specifically Keywords that relate to your product so again Let’s go an overview with this fright for a phrase match keyword they can be of great help to you and analyse which specific phrases your Customers are searching for so as you start to gain more information you can really hone down on what keywords your customers are interested in and From this you can dissect more keywords and move to the ultimate goal which is by targeting? Specific exact match keywords which relate to your product so what I mean by exact match in this case is if someone search for kylo Ren t-shirts you will get kylo Ren t-shirts So misspellings are included and so are singular and plural so what’s actually excluded is Keywords before or after you guys see that It’s very important guys that you guys understand this because if you don’t understand how to run a successful PPC It’s so easy to Reach your budget or go over your budget have an increase a cost over your profit margin And you know your and you before you know it your product will actually not make any profit for you So you guys have to make sure that you understand this single step, so Let’s go over again Let’s before we move on to the chichi I just want to emphasize on one thing and this is something that I preach to all my students Make sure that once you’re doing the advertising patience is key guys make sure that you spend a week running an automatic start adding a manual campaign with a phrase and Ultimately move on to the following stage of running an exact, so let’s go over this step by step phase 1 when you’re running an automatic ad for your Amazon FBA product for your pay-per-click and campaign you initially phase 1 You want to create an automatic discovery campaign? So you okay? So let’s go over and note that I made here you want to create Separate ad groups for each product so for example if you have garlic press and a smoothie blender Don’t create one campaign and put everything underneath that it’s gonna be really hard for you guys to Dissect it afterwards so instead create two separate ad groups within a campaign one for your garlic press and one for your smoothie blend so this helps down the road when you’re actually reviewing it and Downloading a CSV report from Amazon for your campaign manager you can actually easily You know separate the two products and you can dissect which keywords are converting well for you on Amazon FBA The purpose of creating an automatic discovery is to discover keywords and Long tail phrases guys, this is very important So you initially see that some keywords that you might have thought before are Specific to your product actually costing you Two three four dollars cost per click these are not always the best keywords that you want to target And I’ll go over this more in detail later in this video So as well you want to find longtail phrases that get searched less But will actually convert way way higher for you And these are what you guys want to focus on for targeting. Type as mentioned. We’re doing automatic for phase one Default bid I always put 90 cents for the default bid It’s a very good price to put and it will actually convert for you guys You’ll see as you tried if you have not ran a PPC ad make sure to do it at ninety cents And you’ll see the results yourself With the recent sales I suggest that you guys always Run Amazon suggested bid for all the keywords what I usually do is I usually do two to three percent over and above the default bid Simply because other newcomers to Amazon FBA who don’t know this they will all do what Amazon suggests Suggests that bid is so if it’s ninety cents And you know Amazon suggests ninety cents and everyone puts ninety cents you guys your ads are gonna just Go change You know one by one with another competitor Versus when you add another two or three percent to that ninety cents instead of ninety cents you beeping Ninety-five cents however your ads are gonna show out before any others Competitor and the only time that your ad will stop showing is if you run out of budget so always make sure that you go two or three percent and slightly outlet your competitors So this is very important guys make sure that you do this step again I see a lot of people message me tell me Rob I’ve been running an automatic ad but I’m not getting any impressions or any clicks and Usually this is the reason that you’re not getting it one your default bid is Lower than ninety cents to your default bid is matching and other competitors, or is even lower than another competitors Which is the reason you’re not getting the impressions that the clicks that you deserve? Daily budget I always run it for twenty dollars a day for the first seven days again This is very important guys if you have a ten dollar budget And you know the keywords that Amazon targets for you for the automatic PPC campaign Cost two or three dollars cost per click after five clicks Your campaign will automatically shut off So do you think after seven days you will get enough? Results that you can be sad decision of what’s converting well for you chances are very unlikely Versus want you have a twenty dollar budget You actually have some budget that you can dissect and go and analyze which keywords are actually converting for you So duration as I mentioned one week then you want to reduce the default bid to something slightly lower and the reason I Reduce it after the first week is so Amazon now that you found the main top keywords for you Amazon can actually go and start searching for longer tail keywords that will actually cost you a lot less Per click which is very important guys so now that we’re on phase two the next goal that we have is we’ve ran our automatic campaign PPC for Amazon FBA and now we have a Report that we can go off by to create a manual Discovery campaign so again make sure that you create a separate ad group for each product And this will ensure and help organize search stems for you in a different report for optimization in This case I increase the default bid to something slightly higher, so I usually go at 165 reason being is now you actually have a good idea of which keywords are converting well for you and This also goes over a cost which is basically how much money you’re spending over How much sales you’re getting in return and you always want to make sure that you’re a cost is lower than your profit margin so this means that Every dollar that you spend is actually making your profit again. I’ll be going over this in detail guys so stay tuned I just want to go over Every single step and phase that you guys should go through step by step So you guys can understand this before I show you an advertising report that I actually ran for one of my products not too long ago, so 165 default bid again, you can always raise this by two or three percent just to make sure you’re ahead of the competition and I’ll have a PPC tutorial on how to auto adjust this down below So make sure to check that out as well and again you want to run this for one week long pause it every single day make sure that you monitor it make sure that you’re not spending too much money on one keyword versus another and the whole goal with phase 2 is for us to target 5 or more clicks and Anything that is getting for example five clicks six clicks And it’s not getting us any sales with a phrase we want to get rid of so we can start to target highly converting Keywords for us again a cost we want to always make sure that our a cost is Below our profit margin to ensure that we receive the greatest number of impressions and conversions because we never want to Spend more money than what we’re making Once we have Done with Phase two we move on to Phase three where we create again a manual research and in this Step our goal is to hell down the road were reviewing the search report so in here we’ll test converting the phrase that we found in automatic discovery and again, we want to make sure that our it cost is below our profit margin so for example if You know we were spending $10 and that $10 is making us $50 in sales Or a cost is 20% so if our profit margin on the product is 40% We still have 20% left over that we can put back into our pocket at the end of the day So this is what we’re doing on Phase three making sure that everything is making us money and the whole targeting in this In this phase versus the last one is that we’re targeting manual exact match versus a phrase match guys and with exact match Only the people that are searching for these keywords which we have analyzed and found out that they are only looking for these keywords are Searching for and these are the keywords that are gonna convert for us a hundred percent of that time because we’ve ran the report We know what? Keywords are converting for us from the previous two phases And we’re maximizing the default bid and we’re making sure that you know we’re spending enough money So we can maximize our daily sales again daily budget minimum twenty I have it at a hundred so what I usually do is I let this run for four weeks and I constantly monitor day over day and again after four weeks. You can reduce it to thirty five So in phase four we found the top converting keywords for our campaign and for our products so our goal now is Find any other long tail keyword that relate to our product that we would not have thought of before So I use three different keyword product research tools to help me finding in in helping me find these long tail keywords and those are merchant words keyword inspector and Google Adwords our keyword tool so make sure you check out all these three now before we go into this Just want to make an emphasis on this merchant boards what they actually tell you is the estimated Monthly search volume on Amazon, so these are not exact. It’s only estimated the only two that will give you an exact monthly search volume is Google Adwords Keyword tool again Two out of three of these are free merchant words are there is a fee of nine dollars a month so make sure to check it out and The nice thing about it is you can actually Select which market you’re selling in so in our case we are most likely selling in the US market, so let me show you guys exactly what I mean by seeing different variations, so in this case let’s say I was selling Bluetooth speakers as most of you guys can see the highest amount of monthly search volumes at one point seven four nine million Bluetooth speakers and The dominant categories on Amazon is electronic cellphone and accessories if I start going Further and further down. I will actually get some longer tail keywords here as you guys can see so it could be You know let me show you guys an example, so anchor Bluetooth speaker water proof Bluetooth speaker so the chances of me selling a waterproof Bluetooth speaker and targeting it specifically because my product is actually a waterproof Bluetooth speaker and Converting more is a lot higher than me You know trying to gain position for Bluetooth speakers because not only am I paying more for a higher competitive Keyword than a longer tail, but as well people who who might be searching for Bluetooth speakers Might not care too much about the fact that it’s waterproof So basically I’m spending that additional cost and I’m not really getting anything in return Again as you guys scroll down and you see the monthly search volumes going down the default bid and how much your cost per click Will be will usually be going down as well, so this will help you guys more your a cost and maximize your profit So let’s go over One of the products that I sold outreach that I shared with you on my youtube channel So in this case we have the product campaign name here we Have the keyword here, and this is my automatic campaign that I ran for it again I chose the start date, and the end date. It shows the clicks that I received for them So you can actually go over the keyword dissect the keywords out as I mentioned here. You can see the impressions You can see the click-through rate again click through rate guys. I want to show you guys exactly step by step How to read these reports and this is very easy for you you just go on your Amazon seller central You go to advertising reports you print it Either you can do it for the past week for the past 30 days or for the whole time so clicks over Impressions and impressions basically means that your product ad showed in front of people they might have seen it But they did not actually click it when they click it it shows up in this column here so 105 Divided by thirteen thousand five hundred four gives you this point seven eight click-through rate Again, if you’re getting a ton of impressions, and you’re not getting any clicks it could mean that your product is not What people are searching for or your main image that you have for the product is not that great? So in this scenario I spent a hundred and seventy-six dollars for this keyword my average cost per click was 168 USD I Got these are my one the orders placed I have My seals here So I spent one hundred seventy-six meets 659 in this case my a cost and this is what the a cost is guys. Let me show you guys this so you understand So in this case our a cost would be what we spent in Total over our sale amount which in this case is here. Let me up let me highlight both of them for you, so if you guys were to divide 176 72 by our one-day sales This is the you know the conversion rate or the a cost as we call it which actually stands up for your average cost of sales so again 176 over 659 17% so in this case if we had a profit margin of let’s say 40% 40% less 17.1 for you actually have a 23% Net profit margin Which goes back in your pocket again with the goal with this guy’s is for us to minimize our eCos as much as possible While finding out more keywords and once you guys can get yourself on the first page Not only are you benefiting from? Getting steals from these keywords But as well you’re gonna get all those organic sales coming in from people just searching for your product and finding you Organically on the first page, so that’s where you start to see the real money from Amazon FBA coming so again This is the one day conversion now. Let’s go over, and I’ll show you guys the same one-week conversion for the same product As you guys can see again, we have our spending over our seal amount here so our one-week a cost was 20% and Then you can again find out the exact same thing with your Exactly so again you have your product sales, and then you have that here as well And this this is for the product that I did a test account for you guys, so let me show you exactly what? My sales was for this so you guys can see how easy it is to make money on Amazon FBA so turned a two thousand dollar investment into six thousand with an a cost of You know Lord and my 50% and the best part is let me show you guys something really cool that You know I shared with a few students, and it’s really important guys that you guys don’t always Sell your product at the competitor’s price, so make sure that you focus on this so I actually tested this product at $19.99 as you guys can see and I believe let me see if I can show you guys So if you guys can see I actually ended up trying $21.99 in this scenario I I Sold it for I think thirty four thirty dollars and change yeah thirty dollars So I was constantly testing to see how many you know what’s the maximum price that I can sell the product for while you know not only increasing my profit margin, but Ensuring that I have that consistency was coming through as well so start playing around with the prices as you’re doing this That way you know exactly what price point you can sell it as and just because your competitors are selling it as at For example in this case a twenty dollars or fifteen dollars doesn’t mean that you can’t charge three for five dollars Over and above that and make more profit again This is really important guys make sure you follow all these steps And if you do you should be very successful with your Amazon FBA product and through through implementing the five different phases that I mentioned to you guys finally by optimization you should make sure Apply every single one of these phases, so you’re increasing your bottom-line Profit per unit which is the whole goal with Amazon FBA guy? So don’t just go and create an automatic ad and just keep it there and let it run by itself So constantly monitored apply every single step as I mentioned in this video And you guys should do Terrifically well on Amazon FBA once again guys if you did enjoy this video if you’re new to this channel make sure to subscribe give This video a thumbs up if you enjoyed it leave me a comment Let me know what you thought of it or if you have any questions again make sure to join the Facebook group if you have not already and I can’t wait to see you guys on the next video
